
Using Piccles was a great way for our team to gather important data regarding how people feel in the hospital setting. After filtering through over 2,000 images and studying the feedback, we came to several conclusions. The topic in question is how patients react to the environment of their stay at a hospital: do they feel safe, happy, or bored? Our team found that there is a wide range of emotions that are associated with this topic. The Piccles images allowed not only us, but others to see how similar they felt when being asked this question.
Piccles contributed valuable assistance to our message that is being conveyed. It is a great source to gather information about a specific topic. There were several questions that people had to answer. After the survey was completed, it was very easy to review the submissions and analyze how people felt. Piccles’ target market definitely has a wide range. Because it is a web technology that involves virtual engagement, it can be used for college students, companies, and more. Our target market for this specific case was healthcare patients who are often isolated in hospital rooms with a lack of social interaction with others. Our target market would be interested in Piccles because it is an interactive space where people can express themselves in so many different ways. It allows patients who feel like they are unhappy and alone to be creative and have fun with a project like this. Also, when people see the results, they are able to see how similar they are to other people which will in turn make them happier. In difficult times, it can be hard to go through an experience of being at the hospital for multiple days at a time. Piccles can alleviate some stress and brighten up patients’ days through drawings.
Majority of the time, people have very positive feedback about Piccles and how their experience was. While sitting in a lecture hall of over 300 students, everyone was engaged and cooperating with the task at hand. There were multiple questions on Piccles that we had to answer using just our drawing skills and creativity. When asked if everyone enjoyed their experience with Piccles, the whole class said yes. It was clear to see that everyone had a positive interaction with their Piccles engagement.
A feature coming soon that Piccles will be advertising in 2022 are animated drawings. These drawings can be edited and make a movie/story with the art. People can play around with the different features of making their drawings “come to life”. This will give more character to the artwork and have people be further engaged in the process. This feature will be more entertaining to the consumers and keep them very interested. There can be so many stories told through this artwork. These animations can be shared amongst people around them or through fellow users on the Piccles site. This way, customers can engage with other users and comment on their work as well. This Piccles feature will bring together a wide range of people and create a sense of community amongst all.
